Our final adventure in New Zealand was kayaking on Milford Sound. The kayaking company picked us up at the end of the Routeburn track and drove us to Milford for our day of kayaking, which was really convenient. Our weather luck held and once again we had spectacular views and clear skies. Milford Sound was just as beautiful as all the pictures show, and the kayaking was very fun although somewhat strenuous when the wind picked up as the day went on. We had fun using a sail to try and sail back across the sound, although sadly the wind wasn't quite in the right direction for that to work for long. We then took a bus from Milford back to Queenstown, and were treated to amazing scenery on the way.

Again, hard to believe these peaks are so low in elevation! This part of New Zealand looks a lot like Colorado!
